thats directly from the site, please remember they gotta ship it from germany, its a small company too, plus the people at United Cycle, place were I bought it from, have to make a profit / assemble it.
edit: and Idfk why it cost that much though, just the place I got it from, I can get you a picture of the price tag / bike in my hands if you want.
