When someone loves to do something they have every right to spend large amounts of money they earned on it. Sure you criticize him for spending 1k but I can just as easily criticize you forum users who spend $1,000-$2,000 on computers.

I've spent up to $3,000 when I bought my ATV and $1,400 completely redoing the sound system in my car. Do you know why? Working on my car and riding my ATV are things I enjoy doing. I work, therefore I have the right to spend my money on the things I love.

I spent around $499.80 on a mountain bike from specialized and it has held up quite well. Since you paid quite allot for a BMX Bike I hope it lasts you a long time.

im saying, i go for the exersize corisponding with the fun of it.
while u get no exersize using a RC buggy.

You do get exercise with RC stuff. You have to chase it down if it runs out of power/range.
