If you look at EA's stocks, you will see that they have been falling for the last 4 years. Right now they're at around 12 dollars each.

The real problem is that they have creative influence over the games that they back. If they didn't forget with anything to monitize, no one would has an issue. It's  when they forget with stuff that people get mad. Their monitization of battlefield 3 was essentially the last straw for me.
