Author Topic: The little things in life  (Read 864 times)

I don't have an ordinary computer desk. It's a very old slightly decorated wooden desk with two large drawers at the ends. On top this desk there is a larger separate wooden table top screwed tightly in place. Long story short, the separate top table top was varnished as it was getting worn and I used the original old desk for a week.

The original desk is about 60cm deep and 170cm wide. I had very, very little space for anything. My wrist was hurting the entire time as I had almost no space at all for my keyboard and playing games was even more painful. Eventually the varnish dried and now I got my old new and glossy table top back. It's roughly 180cm wide and 80cm deep. And those few extra centimeters mean everything.

I feel like a loving boss having a large desk with a ton of free space everywhere. I could put like 3 towers on this bad boy and use 2 keyboards with no problems. And the table top has a mirror finish. And it's very dark brown, almost black. stuff is so cash.

Has anyone else got similar newfound appreciation for things you took for granted before?

i'm just glad i had food on my table every day

I'm thankful for Jesus loving me. :-)

They have to grow up with the smaller desk.
