Probably some of his camp leaders whispered in his ears while he was sleeping, lol.

No, i am just kidding.
Personally, i don't believe in that kind of stuff.
But i can accept the fact that people follow it.
No problem.

^Agreed, sometimes people being missionaries annoys me, but have fun!

GOD TOLD ME TO BE A MISSIONARY ANYWHERE I WANT

SO I BECAME A MISSIONARY IN SPACE

AND LED DARTH VADER TO THE LIGHT SIDE!

By "God spoke to me", he means that he felt like he should go into a missionary which is associated with Christianity in this case, and he probably couldn't stop thinking about it. Most of the time, people ask God if it's what he wants.

and then God doesn't answer and they think that means either yes or no

yeah okay

why india?

that seems like an even worse idea
Southern India.  There is a small strip of land that is almost entirely Christian.  The ministry that needs help is graduating high school students.  Once they graduate, every one of them have to move North and each establish a church.  India will give you persecution, but Egypt will give you lead.

yeah okay
again, usually they pray about it and think about what God would not like about it in their situation of life.
