No, not a complete overhaul but this is what I am thinking.

In regular games, whenever there's a gunshot within a non-hearable range, it plays a different gunshot sound. Now, this would have to be varied up a bit, maybe by a sound randomizer, something that ThinkInvisible helped me with, so that you are not hearing the same exact sound over and over. Then again, it could just be toggled via rtb prefs if released on rtb?

In any game except those using Slayer's Team Slayer mode, obviously checking before initiating, whenever a player dies by another within a distance the closest player emits a sound, preferably like a gasp of some sort. This one won't need any changing of sounds, and I would hope that if this would for some odd reason be made, that only 1 player would emit it.

Now, when Team Slayer mode is active, this is where Team Deathmatches get more un-boring.
If the killer of a player is in range, or if a teammate is close by, they yell something like most games have: "Target Down!".
If the victims teammate is in range, they yell something like: "Friendly down!" or something.
