The reason why the forums was down was pretty simple: In v21 the beta testers having been teaming up into 2 factions to test certain elements. The Spotters and the Kompressed.
The Spotters while home in the luxurious MotE mansion
heard a distress call Beta tester Wedge was introuble down by the icy palace. Quick to there feet the spotters jumped into action! boarding one of two ships they set sail across the endless slate.
At this moment the Kompressed lead by the dark the evil the all powerful overlord Kompressor of the dark ones was plotting there downfall. As kompressor got word of the Spotters setting out across slate he came up with a most evil plan "I shall send my servant rotondo to take care of them. I shall launch him in one of my ships from one of his servers bays"
So Rotondo set off to confront the Spotters on there mission to reach Wedge.
The two ships finally met. Each one with a cannon pointed at eachother. Ready to destroy the enemy vessel. As entrepreneur in aboard rotondos red ship he fired at the Spotters. the hull was destroyed. the Spotters ship was sinking. Badspot seeing the only way to rescue his spotters was to push the universal reset button. But it would come with a price. it would crash the forums. Would he put normal forumers in harm ways to save his friends? yes it was the only option so he pushed the button. The forums crashed and the day was saved!
