Author Topic: [ARES app, but WIP] Salvager Shuttle - 615 bricks!  (Read 2017 times)

uh
maybe you should update the OP with new pics with the newer version of your ship
Also, looks great to me. Maybe the bottom should be just a little less flat, but other than that I like it. I'd say 9/10 but I'm not in ARES

Ok let's make a compilation of everything bad about the ship so I can't mark everything off as I improve it.

I'm just going to completely redo the back part.

oh no triple post!

I made it longer

Did the box just disapper?
Idk but the end looks wip and cutoff?

it just looks like a big box now

give it wings or something

That's because it is wip and cutoff

i can't really talk about boxyness because my app was literally a box holder

but it is pretty boxy

Well I don't know how to fix the boxyness unless somebody goes into full detail

At least it's better than before

try making the rear thrusters bigger.

Look at it from the front. Pretend the entire ship is black. Do you see a black box?
Look at it from the side. Same thing. Do you see a black box with maybe a few bevels and a ramp?

That's really boxy. Try adding extensions to the sides of the ship. Not little sticky out things, actually nice smooth, nice looking parts that blend into the sides of the ship.

it still looks dark in there. a real spaceship would have lights since the light in space from stars would probably not actually light up the inside of the ship sufficiently. especially one like this one.

Shadows can provide a great reference for that, too.
