Author Topic: Drama Question  (Read 754 times)

I have a question in drama, whenever we post a drama topic and a majority of the community agrees, well, what happens next? Does Badspot ban him (rarely) or what? Sorry if this is in wrong topic it's just a question about drama.

If it's serious then it's a ban.

Otherwise if it's just like being a huge cigarette then the rest of the community will despise the user who was drama'd.

It's just an archive of things people have done in the past. It can help convict people in arguments and can often warn users of bad members of the community.

I guess.

There's been incidents where people have had their keys deactivated for attempting to infect forum users with malware or use backdoor exploits to grief server hosts.

Other than that, no.

I use drama as a huge ban list, people petition me (well not me personally, but I take it that way) to ban so and so, if I agree. I ban the person.

Yeah same.
It really shows how people can react if you do not know the person.

Although I don't ban if it was a long time ago, if it was recent then yes.

If anyone truly scary shows up I might ban them. But most of the time I am not afraid of people who do crap with eventing. And general idiots do not bother me.

Drama's are made basically to ruin/damage someone's reputation.

Not entirely true.

Dramas can be made to inform, debate, or persuade to ban.
Not basically for ruining someones 'reputation'.

stuff like "Okiver is Back" have resulted in legal action. That's pretty much the only instance of that, really.
