What is the Plus version like? Is it any different from the original besides graphics?

it's got updated graphics and music as well as challenges and (steam) achievements

maybe it's just nostalgia but I prefer the old graphics and most of the old music to the new stuff

The Spur is a godsend, but you have to keep your Polar Star instead of trading with Curly to get it and you have to refuse to hand it over to Chako (Labyrinth shopkeeper, not the mimiga). She does a stuffton of damage with you anyways.

Depends. If you were able to get the Spur you probably have the Booster 2.0.
I'd tell you but it's spoilers.

King's Sword is actually a very powerful weapon, but you lose the Level 3 benefits from one hit.
