Steam will not connect (Please help!!!)

Try deleting the clientregistry.blob file thing (that's not it's exact name) in your steam folder and then reopening steam

WHAT I HAVE TRIED:
- Deleting Clientregistry.blob
- Running as administrator
- Restarting computer
- Ending the "steam.exe" process in task manager
- Reinstalling Steam

instead of having a 7 comment chain, click on the edit button on your post, in the corner of it.

shut down steam, delete config folder, start up steam again.
It's a solution for another problem, but it could work in this case.

Fixed itself somehow. Locking.
