Not too terribly many people do, and there's that whole social outcast thing. As is, I have many friends, but I'd say about 40% are really homophobic.

Er, only the tolerant friends seem to think I'm gay.

EDIT: Plus then I'd have to tell my dad, and he's blissful in his ignorance.

On-topic: OP, another (worse) solution is to simply stop having male friends.
