hello moonbase alpha update

No, the only reason our planet isn't cratered at all is because meteors burn in out atmosphere and rarely hit the surface. The last meteor that caused serious damage that hit our planet was in the Ukraine, and i'm pretty sure it actually exploded and burned up before it actually made contact. The moon has no atmosphere and meteors hit it all the time.
if any dangerous meteors came anywhere near earth, it would be huge news and everyone would know
Jupiter n stuff keeps them away

the moon's been around a long time. but it doesn't have water, so there's no erosion. our atmosphere is very thin as well

Thin is better than none.
Besides the atmosphere can be very thick and the air heats it up.

no I'm talking about actual width

that's hitting something the size of africa, eventually something is going to hit your base.

well you could always dig

also:
"...and 9 spacecraft deliberately crashed into the Moon."
shouldn't that be illegal or something

uh
i didnt read whatever article thats from but that just sounds like deorbiting probes

not really, a probe or satellite being crashed into the moon doesn't really do anything.

why onto the poor moon
when will we start to have moonhuggers and stuff
and instead of everything being "green" they'll be "grey"

Wait wait hold on a second...

"Exotic Matter???"
What are we talking about here?

Dibs on the orbiting Jupiter colony

particles that don't interact with our universe well.

this would be extremely cool. i was thinking about this for a while but it would to do with something about bending the universe.

i find it funny we can destroy our whole universe but we can't even colonize the moon.

If man is the destroyer of the universe, then we don't deserve to be alive.

If man is the destroyer of the universe, then we don't deserve to be alive.

I'm sure there are worse beings out there other than man that has already forgeted up their planets or some stuff.

not really, a probe or satellite being crashed into the moon doesn't really do anything.
NASA also crashed a rocket booster into the Moon's ice cap last year (IIRC) to see if there was any water there.
