Need help with a new PS3 problem.

You see, I hate the ps3 only because it's fragile as forget. My BluRay player or something similar broke on it, so I can't play PS3 games.
It basically transformed into a PS2.

why does a $600 ON LAUNCH CONSOLE HAVE A B ONLY CONNECTION?

and to add on to the piss off factor, if the ps3 falls asleep (by the screen disappearing) the connection goes with it, failing the download.
when downloading a 500MB update for LBP2 with no chance of background downloading that will piss you off faster then any forumer here could possibly be able to do is a pain in the ass.
btw my LBP2 500mb update failed at least 20-30 times.

Not to mention the orginial overheats, meaning when I'm playing Jak 3 I have to pull my PS3 out of the stand.

actually i got mine for $249 with 160 gigs, also, the RCA TV is a HD TV apparently.

The only problem i have ever had is the fallout NV 4 hour playtime glitch. It freezes after 4 hours of playing straight. Then every now and then after playing for like 6 hours there's like a 5% chance one of my games will freeze. But other than those two tiny things it's fine.
