I have an NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M GPU and I just installed the latest driver.

After doing which, text is very blurry when using it.

Is that normal?

Are you using a resolution suitable for your screen?

Are you using a resolution suitable for your screen?
Yes, absolutely.

i know amd settings have some option where you can use some kinda fake-AA, that when outside of game, makes text look all goofy, and underezzed.

maybe you found the nvidia version that that. i dunno lol

Are you running Windows 8?

Are you running Windows 8?
No and it only started after I updated my drivers.
Probably going blind.
...How dafuq is that helpful.

Clean your eyes.

Seriously though, it's worth checking your vision; try reading at different distances from different screens. If everything's sharp apart from yours, then make sure everything is up-to-date and check the Nvidia forum.

I had this exact issue with my Radeon 7770, it had to do with my resolution and my hookup.

When I used an HDMI cable with my main display it would cause this issue no matter what settings, but when I used DVI it worked on the correct res, so I just hooked up my secondary with my HDMI

are you using one of these?

I had an a problem with games and this, it was something called mipmap detail level. Look under the nvidia settings panel, it's probably a software thing.
