Author Topic: What windows 8 SHOULD have been like  (Read 2181 times)

Wouldn't it have been nice if they combined the desktop and start screen instead of having the start screen nearly useles?
Nah, I like the new Start screen.

The only problem I have ever had with Windows 8 was when the whole operating system failed all of the sudden and crashed because the Boot Configuration Data file was missing information and it didn't let me boot it up completely, but that was just because of conflicts with Windows 7 and a bad installation.

Once I got proper graphics for Windows 8, it was great. I simply just click one tile to go to the desktop and the Start menu isn't that bad either. It's a lot faster than Windows 7, and that includes my Blockland FPS. People really have to try Windows 8 out before they assume it's bad...

windows 8 isn't terrible, but it definitely could be better.

My friend got a new laptop loaded with Windows 8. Honestly, it's not so bad, but I really don't like the whole metro thing a whole lot. It's just hard having to click the My Computer shortcut then clicking on your documents or whatever in the sidebar instead of hitting start.
