Author Topic: Polyester for hoodie?  (Read 690 times)

Is the polyester a normal/good fabric for hoodies?

Just wondering opinions

It's a Commie fabric, use 100% all american slave-picked cotton grown in Vietnam!

Cotton. Cambodia all the way!

No, polyester is an unnatural fabric. Something like cotton breathes much easier. I could be wrong about hoodies because I never wear them but I'm pretty sure it's not desirable.

I don't have a choice here. The hoodie I really want is only made in 100% polyester.

Is it worth it?

Is what worth it? You didn't give us a price.

I think polyester is widely used for hoodies and i've seen some nice examples of it, personally i prefer cotton but whatever floats your boat.

If that material is being used, then most likely it won't kill you.

It's fine, just don't put it in the dryer. Let it airdry on a hanger outside otherwise it'll knot together and look dirty.

Yes. It doesn't matter, it's a hoodie. Unnatural Fabrics are better for jackets and such as they usually clean easier. Cotton is good for shirts and underwear. Wool is stuff for everything unless the thread count is really high. Silk is great, if you've got lodesomone.
