Have you considered outside noise? I mean, that is the point of music. Get away from it all. A whole different world. What about when a truck passes you right during the chorus, damn now you can't shout with your stereo like a rock star on MTV :c

This exists in some cars. Except it tones down when a call happens, I think the phone is plugged into the computer and the person wears a bluetooth headset.

A similar concept is used in programs like Skype.
