The f11 trick does too work, I use floating blocks all the time on my server.

I have an old lego brick that lights up when you push a button...

Anyways  floaters would require badspot or someone good with hax(real good)

or the editing of a save, or the creation of a small interior, then the deletion of it.

I've thought this though pretty much for hours trying to think of a way that floating bricks would work and I came to... Special bricks. Basically you have a special "Floating" base plant and you build off that simple, but some smaller bricks would also be nice so you can do space ships etc.

why not the old TBM/RTB way, place a brick on the ground, and just move it up using five (or whatever the 'Up' button is.), and plant it in the air?
