Razer Charcarias, which are more of a gaming headset are pretty nice, the quality is really nice And they have really good bass. The ear cups or whatever I made of like a material a fleece would be made out, very very soft. It's $70 and works on PC/Mac and Xbox 360. Although I think Sennheiser is the brand to go or listening to music.

I used to own charcarias
I actually have a broken pair sitting underneath my desk as I type this

the mic, after a few weeks, refused to function and when it did it made a loud fuzzy sound. I tried several fixes and even got a replacement.
again, after a few weeks, the same issue occured

according to the many complaint threads, I wasn't the only one either

I have a pair of Turtle Beaches, and Razer Tiamats. I prefer the Tiamats. Although turtle beaches are way more portable.
Razer makes great products
Infact, I am typing on a razer keyboard right now
Aweeeeesommmmeeee

Stay away from the overhyped gaming headsets. Especially if you just want it for music.

I'd suggest taking a look at some well known brands such as Beyerdynamic, Audio Technica, Sennheiser, Denon etc.
How about the Audio Technica ath-m50? They are suggested in nearly every hifi-headphone thread I see. They sell for around 120$ here, not sure about the prices where you live.

Or if you want to take a "risk", I highly suggest trying out Takstar headphones. They are produced in China, some say they are Beyerdynamic DT880 rip-offs, and those who know what they're talking about say that they have amazing bang for the buck. See this thread. I have a pair of Pro80's, and they are so great I bought a pair of HI2050's just for the heck of it. $43 and free shipping is almost for free.

One thing you should know though: these are high-end headphones, and require a bit power to show their potential. If you buy an amplifier, your ears will climax for hours! You could probably also buy a cheap Xonar soundcard (~30 bucks), that will also help.
