If your parents give you stuff for bad grades just show them your hw and see if they can do it xD
Most adults can't even comprehend the hw i have since i am in some pretty advanced classes for my age.
So if i get stuff for getting a C(ive never gotten anything lower) then i just show them the hardest math problem and say....solve this...

But honestly, don't let him convince you that grades are such an important thing. All it is is an attempt to measure all people on one scale and tell everyone to live up to the same standards as the "A" student. As far as I can tell, most students who get straight A's are people who are either brainwashed, beaten, or do drugs (in a moderate way).
The only thing that can convince me to get an A is if the instructor is cool, i'm interested in the subject, etc.

OT: mainly because i live in a predominantly italian-american (as i am myself) neighborhood my school offers italian instead of german.
Who the forget even speaks italian that isnt italian or sammarinese (which number in like, less than a million)

I get A's and B's average. The only time ive ever had a D or F was when I missed a week of school while on vacation.

I never said you did. You're ruling out the possibility of brainwashing, which may sound like an extreme term in this case. Think of it more like people who have been convinced that getting A's is the only way to succeed in life, etc.

all great grades do it win you some free college money, and even then if you are lucky.
stuffty grades can still get college pretty easily lol, just gotta take loans the usual way.

That's the thing. Sure you can get into college with bad grades, but since usually the ones with good grades are hard workers and most likely do things outside of school (Volunteer, etc.), they have a much better chance at getting into a university with possibly even all of it paid for.

Basically, why get a C when you can get an A, because even if you might end up doing the same thing in the future, not everyone's life works out like that lol.


Plus with higher degrees you have more job possibilities than someone who doesn't have a college degree. (Doctor, Dentist, Surgeon, etc.)
I get all A's, but that's because I don't see the point in going to school 5/7 days of the week just to give half effort lol.
