I usually couldn't give a stuff about the YouTube layouts everyone moans about, but Google have taken it too loving far this time.
One channel is a barely functional piece of stuff. You can't have banners over 1 MB in size, if you choose vertical view for the shelves it will only show six items and nothing more and your viewers have to root through a bunch of pages just to see your basic stats which are usually just shown at the top of the channel.
It doesn't even LOOK appealing to me; I thought the whole point was that "Each channel is an individual snowflake" (which sounds extremely handicapped anyway), yet they have made it so that every channel looks like the home page of YouTube, which is the page I view most on the whole loving website, thus completely stuffting on the whole idea of individuality
