ah yes that one, I haven't played Arma II in months.

No it's not... It's an upgraded version of the AK-47.

Iiii, found a helicopter that works, with fuel in it. Somewhat lame but also very fun. Picked up a player called Penicillin or something, and we're flying around.

AKM is my favorite my of the Kalashnikov series as far as dropping zombies dead. I like the 74 and 107 when fighting people, plus these two rifles are unkown to the general public because the media likes to call every ak variant an AK47.

Couldn't get this mod to work. Every server seemed to either be a more recent version than mine, or it would just stop loading before I spawned.

"Once manufacturing difficulties had been overcome, a redesigned version designated the AKM (M for "modernized" or "upgraded" (in Russian: Автомат Калашникова Модернизированный [Avtomat Kalashnikova Modernizirovanniy]) was introduced in 1959.[29] This new model used a stamped sheet metal receiver and featured a slanted muzzle brake on the end of the barrel to compensate for muzzle rise under recoil. In addition, a hammer handicaper was added to prevent the weapon from firing out of battery (without the bolt being fully closed), during rapid or automatic fire."

"It was also roughly one-third lighter than the previous model."

Have you tried DayZ Commander, Oasis? It automatically downloads and updates the game for you. You can download maps and stuff from it too, and it serves as a server browser.

Unless you really want to play badly and have extra cash, I wouldn't suggest buying ArmA: 2 and OA at this point if only for DayZ. If you want to play for Wasteland etc, go ahead. The standalone could be coming out any day now, and it will be better in almost every way. No more stuffty inventory system, bad car handling, terrible spawning system, useless zombies, and 99% of buildings will have loot and be enter-able.

I can run DayZ on my new computer now! My old computer I couldn't walk 10 feet without lagging.

Are you running it with both ArmA: 2/OA, or the free ArmA?
