Author Topic: The word "friend" and "Gay"  (Read 1335 times)

Coming from a gay:
I honestly don't care what anybody says, the word 'friend' is an insult. Even if it's technically slang, slang is slang. (also coming from a black guy), same goes for the word 'monday'. It's slang, but its still an insult.

I wish people would stop throwing those words around like they're nothing, lol.

That's silly. When someone says that someone else is a cigarette, they mean that they're a prick. Hardly anyone ever refers to gay people as cigarettes. Let's say someone is trying to make a bendy straw. If that straw isn't bendy, someone could say "That's too straight." I wouldn't get offended BECAUSE THOSE THINGS AREN'T RELATED AT ALL PEOPLE ARE REFERRING TO DIFFERENT THINGS

Dr. Benjamin Spock made everyone from the baby boomers onward a bunch of pussies. Everybody's sue happy and whiney; they can't learn to not take offense to everything they possibly can.
