Actually she isn't alcoholic anymore.

That's great. I'm happy for her.

get the forget out.

Ah, no. I'm not obliged to tell you that she's great and everything's fine because she's not and no it's not. She has a lack of self control and the inability to say no. It sucks she has depression but it's her fault she chose to have a drink at ~15/16 despite knowing what it could do to somebody who's mind is still developing.

Also, what kind of person goes and has a baby at 18 to "make her happy"? I guess that's fine-ish but still, that's just really dumb, considering you are a) not married to somebody who can help you raise it b) will probably have people raise it more than you will resulting in a disconnected parental bond and c) are putting another burden on others for your own "gain" (or whatever could possibly come out of this)

Sorry to hear about what happened to your friend D:

I hope she gets through it well, I knew a girl who had a miscarriage and just the thought of it takes a toll on your emotions..

She wanted to have the baby because it gave purpose to her life as she was tackling depression and alcoholism.

That just makes it even worse :c

I'm not well-informed on the psyche of a whole lot of people, but I'm assuming she wanted a purpose and somebody to hold dear and love, not an outlet for happiness.
