Author Topic: Forum Suggestion: Show ban reasons / length  (Read 590 times)

When someone gets banned, it kind of sparks a curiosity in me on why exactly they got banned for that post/thread. I'm sure some people get confused at certain times when a decent member that they like gets banned for whatever reason. Is there any harm in publically displaying ban reasons? And the length?

User was banned for this post is good enough for me. We don't have to know how long and why, that's ridiculous. It's quite obvious what rule they broke.
I would much rather have him tell us how long each ban is on the rules. We don't need to have "User was banned for this post for a week"

You mean like

User was banned for this post: 1 week, being outrageously gay

Or like

User was banned for this post
1 week : Being the biggest homoloveual on the forums

Didn't this actually happen from the beginning? I think I remember seeing some.
