Should there be a rule or a separate thread advising not to post about maps?

As we know, we get one of those threads every three or five days, about someone who tries to ask for maps back.

I just want to do a quick survey about maps. I want to figure out some, what I believe are, interesting facts about the community.

I agree with the first bold statement because even though we got the shader update, most all that's been coming out are bug fixes and add-ons. We have an amazing modding community. The developers need to focus on things that the community cannot do. (Engine updates, actual game updates)

I dunno about you guys, but I'd like to have done maps back. At least when you sucked at building you could goof off on a mountain or explore a sink, now you have to build the mountain, and if you're as bad at building as I am, that can be a problem!

can't we try to make something where shaders would be disabled when playing terrain?
Idk about you, but I'm to laggy to use shaders anyways.

does anybody agree with me when I say we should bring back the maps fir the game? Not that I don't like the slates, They are ok, but C'mon man, removing the maps? If you ask me we should bring them back.

Since V21, noobs have been complaining about the departure of interiors/terrain.

I would like to request a rule that players can not create topics such as "BRING BAKC TERAIN PLS!111!!!1q"
I think the appropriate ban time should be 3 days, as new forumers will be posting this, so a small ban should give them the right idea that this should not be acceptable.

I have noticed a lot of these topics in the past year, but unfortunately I cannot find any for this topic, I think they have just been deleted by a moderator.

I have added a poll regarding the length of the ban.

You kind of get my point. It's becoming so annoying to see the same thread over and over about "We should have maps back why won't we have maps back cmon it makes blockland funner lets have maps i cant even run shadows"

It should be a rule that you are highly advised not to post about the maps, because it's annoying. They should understand that maps are not coming back unless Badspot decides to do something, and it looks like he's very content with the shadows because it makes for easier updates.

People just want the maps back, even though it probably won't happen, they can express their opinion how they want, but I think they should also realize, it won't happen.

If you think it's annoying, don't post, it's not a hard concept actually.

My point is, people should be able to post their opinion, but I also agree by now they should understand that their wishes won't come true.

This should not be a rule, sounds handicapped.
