Did you know, in Super Mario 3, the Invincible Flame fired from blocks can be extinguished by jumping on it with the tanooki suit?
you need to turn into a statue first and fall onto the fire, duh. :/

This actually sounds like a great idea, since Mario wasn't related to Blockland in the first place, and the powerups are cool, so why not?
