Author Topic: Laptop specs good for gaming?  (Read 426 times)

My sister got a laptop for college and i can use it whenever she doesnt so i decided to check the specs and wondered if they were good or not.  Please discuss the specs. (I dont know much about computers/laptops so thats why im asking fyi)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2328M CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.88 GB usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

its intel hd graphics so no

I would get a desktop for gaming. Most laptops are overpriced

Get more ram allocate it to graphics. Also an ssd would also speed up your swap.

Ram doesn't make a big dent in performance, and graphics memory doesn't do anything in terms of performance.

It's possible the laptop has a discrete card in it and OP just doesn't know how to find its info

It has a low power consumption CPU so therefore it's going to be integrated 100% chance.
