Why do people discriminate so much about races and gays?

Since we are on the topic on why people are discriminated, why are many forums upset about religions? Not all of them try to choke you with it. If I recall correctly, only mormons do so, but only in a very polite way. For example, they will come to your door once every year or so, depending, and ask if you would like to join. I do not see an issue.

Also edit: Yes, I also do understand some people do try to assault you to convert, but only ignorant and rude people typically. But why is it stereotyped to all people of any religion?

Religion acts discriminatory to others via its texts, which is why people oppose it.  The individual practicing the religion is affiliated with this because, according to their own religion, they are required to abide by the standards of these texts.  If that isn't the case, your argument's moot because they aren't following their religion appropriately.

Discriminating towards discriminators is appropriate if it informs others of their inappropriate deviance and butchers its practices.

Homoloveual can either mean having an attraction to the same gender, or being annoying/bad.

I've noticed a shift in the youth where more atheists are starting to come out. Some of home who violent and more militant. I worry about what the next generation atheists looks like.

The carelessness of Atheist children could be from the fact that they believe there's no long-term motive to follow laws.

I have nothing against black people, until it comes down to their general attitude (bitches, brothers, hoes, #obey, all the contemporary attitude flaws). Some black folks are exempt from this. Every now and then I find a black friend worth knowing. That's not often.


However for some reason I'm just homophobic. I can't explain why with a valid reason I guess. My religion doesn't agree with it, and I don't either, but that's not because of my religion.

Some gays are easy to get along with. I would name one but I don't know if he's wanting to publicly announce that yet, haha. The ones that piss me off are the ones who act female. Why the forget would you act female if that's what youre no trying to attract, I don't get it, it's hard to explain what I mean. Is it because they prefer rooster over vagina? I mean forget.

Well, speaking for african-americans as a whole, I will not lie and say that quite a few of us do fall into stereotypes, mainly in the midwest- east coast area. However, it is both their parent's fault and the government's fault. Young kids giving into everything they see on MTV, buying a car worth a nice apartment/house in a good neighborhood, and purposely acting "unclassy". However, I've grown up around the country, so i've gotten a chance to see how people of multiple ethnic backgrounds act. These people seem to fall into "black" stereotypes pretty easy as well.

I myself have no problem with any other individuals of my ethnicity or others, its just that I hate the idiotry of people, which could be against people who fall in to stereotypes.

Gays on the other hand, I could really careless. I don't agree with their "persecution", but other than that, idc.

I honestly don't like gay pride stuff. Can't stand it.
I understand something small like a post on Facebook or something but some times they go to far. The city above me has a gay pride parade once every year or 2, is it really needed?

It's a defense mechanism for collectivist cultures or communities. Notice that southerners tend to have strong community ties and strong identification with that as opposed to Yankees. Japan has the most homogenous culture in the world, and they are kinda tribal against outsiders and also discriminate against deviating religious views.
