This cute little racing game where no one drives is still one of my favorite games for all of these years.
Getting into the game is simple. In fact, I didn't know how to play, I started a race and I beat it while learning the controls along the way.
You go on several different tracks to get money then run into a tournament. You also have to get "licenses" before being able to enter. Licenses are boring little time-trials with special conditions, so I recommend doing them quick to get them out of the way. In every single race, there is an extra racer called "Garbage Truck" and if you lose to him, and I quote; "If you lose to garbage truck, you are garbage". He's so easy in fact, in one of the maps when everyone was on the third lap and almost there, he was in a water hazard and on Lap 1. Then when you make enough money, you enter a tourney that requires special requirements. Not to mention each and every race requires you have different tires so you can win on off-road too. Eventually when you progress far enough, you'll be able to do silly races like the Chicken Race, which isn't meant for racing. You have to go around and collect chests so you can unlock a Chicken car.

It's literally Chicken on a plate with a gift ribbon
Tournaments are much more strict though, you have to run through new things called "Pit Stops" to keep your car healthy. If you don't, your car has a higher chance of slowing down and spinning out.
Gadgets aren't just better tires, you have to equip like Floaties and Propellers and Gliders. Heck, some special races require you wear a police-siren that actually looks like a hot dog. This makes the game have a lot of content. Not to mention that doing the wrong thing in a course can give you a huge advantage, which also makes it not so forced.

Discuss Gadget Racers.
