Author Topic: gaming journals  (Read 674 times)

just wanted to see if anyone else here liked to keep a gaming journal. if you don't know what a gaming journal is, it's this:

So I have a composition book,it says "Gaming Journal + Drawing" on the front (i go through about a notebook a month)
First page: A table of contents.

"Page 1. Game Library
"Page 3. Far Cry 3
"Page 4. GTA IV"

This is just the index. its where I keep where the games go.

Then on page 1. "Library"
With a chart of all my video games and what console there are on. (There's a page and a quarter)

Then on Page 2. "Far Cry 3"

Missions Completed: 4

Genre: Open-World, FPS
Maker: Ubisoft
Rating: 8.5/10

Log
July 25 - Died 3 times liberating outpost. To Do list.
July 24 - Liberated Many outposts.
July 23 - Liberated outpost.
July 22 - Bought game.

That's basically one page. So abck to what we were talking about.

The Gaming Journal is a thing where you keep track of video games, log what you do in video games, and record what video games you own. You basically just keep tabs on everything you do in video games. Every day I play a certain video game I try to add something to the video gaming journal.

So do any of you have one?

it doesnt seem like a really productive thing unless its some game like dragons dogma or space quest or some expansive rpg that requires you to memorize locations and buttons and stuff.

but if it's something to do within idle time, thats pretty neat
