Author Topic: Does anyone else have a hard time writing?  (Read 1497 times)

I had to write five thank you letters earlier this year, my hand would start to cramp up every two letters forcing me to take a break.

It also made me realize how terrible my hand writing was.

The tilt was totally unintentional

Using a mouse made mine look a lot better

ish

i used a tablet so meh

my handwriting sucks but it's a little better (and slower) in cursive
I disagree with that. If you clean up a typewriter and put some 3-In-One oil in it, they move like clockwork. It is magnificent to see old machinery like that move so nicely.
moving like it should doesn't mean moving smoothly
for example, a second hand. for example, even the most perfectly working second hand on a watch will not be smooth. unless someone makes really weird watches

@Night, it takes me like 3 times as long to write in cursive. Ill have to write something, I like loopy traditional cursive :)

They stopped teaching cursive in my school district in 3rd grade. That was about 7 years ago lol. Anyone agree they should teach it? Because Ive seen some peoples' signatures and it is awful because they don't really know what script is.

wel
Wow, its kind of nice penmanship.

my writing isnt that good either but i can sure type a lot on a keyboard

why can't we just type everything
that'd make the world easier
would've saved me a LOOOT of loving time in elementary school

I used to have no problem writing but now it's like I'm having OCD spasms whenever i try to write a word and it's just the most frustrating thing ever.

like even when i think of writing i cringe

Everything in this thread is beautiful compared to my friend Chase's handwriting.
I was the only person in our entire grade who could read everything he wrote. Sometimes it was basically just chicken-scratches. I corrected all his papers in Health class because not even the teacher could read them. I'm pretty sure I saved his grade there lol

My handwriting is a mess, and I know why. I never learned the right way to hold a pencil; my way is awkward and gives me cramps but I cannot unlearn it.

I'm beyond stuff at writing.
