Using an MD5 or SHA1/2 hash to obsfucate secret data like in the portal ARG would be a good idea. I'm not sure why nobody's implemented it- it's a fun challenge for the more technically inclined people of the forums.

The problem is that a lot of us have NO IDEA what that means.Personally I have a plan of my own using another medium but it will flop if nobody else on the forums has a certain video game...

A forum user named "Mura" posted a topic titled "sOMe cool pIcTures i found online" or something along the lines, and sent us on a 100-page wild-goose chase, trying to solve a mystery involving a little girl and the Chernobyl incident.It was weird; it seemed as though she was some sort of automated response machine, accepting specific codes and giving random output, from creepy videos to different kinds of codes (morse, binary, etc.).
We could make it damn complicated and for instance post it in some places on 4chan, where it would be this hunt across boards for the answermaybe I'm making it sound too epic but still that would be fun
But then you'd get a lot of friends from /b/
