Apple is making a new OS X called Mavericks. It's going to come out this fall.

Maverick is a term, usually referring to cattle, for an animal that does not carry a brand.

Well, I probably won't be getting anytime soon. I dislike what Apple's been doing recently; "updating" their OS by changing/adding a few system features and updating some apps. Come on, if I'm going to buy an OS, I want one that actually looks and feels different than the last one you released, at least a bit.

Exactly. Mavericks doesn't have anything different from the other operating systems.

Even though I am an Apple user, I hate it how they make new OS Xs that are almost the same as other ones.
