Baump

Makin progress

Although I'm beginning to think that it would have been cheaper to just buy the cutout than to buy all this hot glue and duct tape

...It's a good thing other people are buying us all that hot glue XD

IT'S ALIVEE

IT'S ALLIIIIIVEEE

and it's really big

Oh stuff, look out it's the cardboard man!

holy stuff that's really tall
good 4 u that i have a ~thing~ 4 siz differences ;;;;;)

reminds me of this guy

that's actually rather impressive

i gave this up for dead :P

it's rather clunky though and you slightly bending over in the shot with the armor on makes it look like its awkwardly tall and not an actual "large robot." i'd have suggested keeping it the size of yourself rather than going overboard like that but its too late to do that much changes.

as for design critiques, the boots are rather badly scaled and the legs are def too short compared to the torso. may want to consider shrinking the boots somewhat, or tapering them to your legs like in that picture with the guy with the hat.

thanks for the criticism! Although at this point there really isn't much I can do

Once the torso got to this point, I can't really do anything for the heigth. I orginally planned on having stilts too, to make it more proportionally correct. But A) stilts would be hard to make, B) they'd be hard to use, and C) it would be at least nine feet tall then

Although I can always just do away with the torso completely. The helmet is detachable and usable seperately. I can put on the boots, hat, and two gigantor arms and it'd still look pretty good imo

....and then it rains.

Seriously, you should like, at least partially weatherproof it by covering it completely in packing tape or something, just in case it rains. Also, it helps decrease wear over time and very (and I mean very) slightly increases structural integrity.

Looks really nice, though. Great work.

Thanks!

If I had enough tape I'd definitely do that, but for now I guess I just have to hope that it won't rain on Halloween, lol

I still plan on painting it to look metal too, if I can get a hold of some paint
