I dumped Google half a year ago. I got my own email server, and switched to using Vimeo for hosting any videos I want to post. On top of that I use DuckDuckGo for my regular search engine, and Yahoo for image searches. In addition I use Noscript, which automatically blacklists Google brown townytics scripts and Google Ad Services.

YouTube won't let me do anything on my account unless I link it to Google+ and it wants me to use my real name.
