one of my dogs was killed by a neighbor's recently
it was pretty sad, but I wasn't very attached, so I'm sure it's worse
my best friend's dog died earlier today
yeah that sucked too
God, cats are loving starfishs, the world will be better without it. Now you can get a real pet, like a doge.
no wonder people don't like you

Don't dump that friend on me
I wasn't dumping him on you.

You're a loving idiot

Best way to fill the void is to go over to your local shelter and adopt a new cat. There will always be a hole in your soul where Tickles was but at least you've always got room for more.
Having recently lost a pet I don't think that's going to help. I can't imagine replacing my dog so soon after she died.

hahahaha
get the forget out

i'm sorry for your loss but the cat was 15 years old. in my opinion you should have put it to sleep sooner so that it would have died peacefully, rather than after a stroke. still though, i'm really sorry for your loss and i've experience similar things. :(

I'm sorry about your cat dying OP, I know what's it like to lose a close pet, hell I've lost 2 of them and one will be dead any day now, but it gets better.

It's not so much replacing as it is finding someone to share your grief and your experiences with.

I shared my grief and experience with my close friends and family, I don't think having another animal would have helped.
