Best way to fill the void is to go over to your local shelter and adopt a new cat. There will always be a hole in your soul where Tickles was but at least you've always got room for more.

I'm sorry about your cat dying OP, I know what's it like to lose a close pet, hell I've lost 2 of them and one will be dead any day now, but it gets better.
Having recently lost a pet I don't think that's going to help. I can't imagine replacing my dog so soon after she died.
It's not so much replacing as it is finding someone to share your grief and your experiences with.
