Author Topic: I was interviewed by Bossa Studios.  (Read 2194 times)

Today, me and a few friends journeyed to Eurogamer Expo in Earl's Court, London. We were pretty excited about playing the PS4 for the first time, but also using the Oculus Rift and Razor Hydra to play Surgeon Simulator 2013. While queuing for said game, we began talking to one of the developers of the game and asked him a bunch of questions, which was really fun; he went to the same University as Mike Bithell, who developed Thomas Was Alone (Bossa Studios helped to port the game to PS3 and PSVITA too).

When we got closer to the end of the line, another developer came up to us and asked us if she could film us playing Surgeon Simulator and then interview us about how it was. We all agreed and played the game, which was loving awesome to control both arms and the head with motion controls. She took us into this Surgeon Simulator themed ambulance outside of Earl's Court (which doubled as an actual ambulance) and recorded us on camera, asking us about the Oculus Rift and whatnot. She then told us that the video is going to be put up on Bossa's official YouTube channel. They gave us free t-shirts, and everyone who was at the Surgeon Simulator booth signed them for us.

The video's going up in a few weeks, so if you want to see me and my friends slightly awkwardly talk about Surgeon Simulator 2013, Oculus Rift and indie games in general, keep an eye out on Bossa's YouTube channel

I wish I could go to things to play video games.
You know, other than my computer and consoles.

is the oculus rift actually what it advertises?

I've seen people play games with it, so far it seems to be pretty great

Lucky, I wish I can go to places like that and play games.
