I think we're set. It's just a simple escorting mission, right?

You arrive at the rendezvous point.

: Alright, is everybody here?
: Commodore Knašs, present.
: Captain Helt, acknowledging.
: Commander Ayudador, assisting.
: Commander Helfer, ready.
: Excellent. We may leave when you wish, Commodore.

You fly through Kru territory...

...and are promptly stopped by a Kru patrol.

: ATTENTION SUURI-NAGY SHIPS. LEAVE THIS SECTOR IMMEDIATELY OR FACE CONSEQUENCES.
: We cannot take any other route. We must pass through this sector.
: WE DO NOT CARE. THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING. LEAVE THIS SECTOR IMMEDIATELY OR DIE.
: Sir?
: Maku class, protect the Endeavour.
: Helt, charge your weapons.

: YOU HAVE TEN MICRONS.

: Have it your way.

Commodore Knašs "Advocator" (Tāwhiri Class Battle Cruiser)/ 15/15

Commander Helfer "loveboat" (Maku Class Escort Ship) / 10/10

How to fight:

Movement:
Command which direction to move to move there.
You can only move one space at a time, and cannot occupy an already taken spot (friendly or otherwise).

If you are next to a ship, you may board it and roll odd or even to destroy it from the inside, resulting in a one-hit-kill.

Attacking:
Select an enemy-occupied octagon to fire on. Move your mouse over an octagon to find the name of a ship.
You cannot fire on friendly or neutral ships. It's not cool.
You can attack and move in one turn; the movement will be taken first, and the the attack.
For every space you are closer to the enemy ship, your attack strength increases +2.

Just because a friendly is in the way of a target does not mean you cannot fire. Space is a three dimensional war zone.

Other stuff I didn't anticipate: Just ask.

Move Pohatu down and, if it's allowed, board the neighboring ship for an (even) one-hit kill. If you can only do that in place of moving, let's attack it.

: WE REFUSE TO SURRENDER!

board the neighboring ship for an (even) one-hit kill.

We will do this in conjunction with the next turn unless anybody has any objections.

(also no updates until tomorrow, I'm tired)

everyone that can shoot at the ship in the back, dont shoot at the sutata because we are boarding it obv

Form a defensive shield around intervention
then fire at will

: NO!

: YOU WILL PAY, MAMMALS!

You roll [EVEN] and successfully board and sabotage the ship.

Updates later. I don't like updating late at night and I gotta smash together more filler story.

You continue through Kru territory.

: Sir?
: Yes, Tuarua?
: We have multiple sizable Kru formations building in the sectors.

Your Fleet
Kru Fleets
Major Planets (Unfriendly/Hostile)
Major Planets (Friendly/Neutral)

: How large are the formations?
: Easily 10 ships large. I've excluded smaller groups. I could display them if you'd like.
: Please do.

: Sacré merde.
: Yeah. It's pretty frangin' bad.
: What do you suggest, captain?

Which neutral/friendly planet is closer? We could brute force our way to it and get supplies there, and then go back more prepared.

Which neutral/friendly planet is closer? We could brute force our way to it and get supplies there, and then go back more prepared.

The south planet is closer. It would also mean backtracking, however, and you'd have to keep fighting through the Kru to get out again.

Assuming you're facing the north, 1) take a hard right and go around the Kru - or 2) just backpedal out and go around the entire space nacho of forgeted.

I'm also assuming the destination is to the north - our south has a fewer and scarcer amount of patrolling crooks.

If we can trade for useful supplies (fuel, weapon upgrades, etc.) at the southern planet, we should take this route.
