How to fight:
Movement:
Command which direction to move to move there.
You can only move one space at a time, and cannot occupy an already taken spot (friendly or otherwise).
If you are next to a ship, you may board it and roll odd or even to destroy it from the inside, resulting in a one-hit-kill.
Attacking:
Select an enemy-occupied octagon to fire on. Move your mouse over an octagon to find the name of a ship.
You cannot fire on friendly or neutral ships. It's not cool.
You can attack and move in one turn; the movement will be taken first, and the the attack.
For every space you are closer to the enemy ship, your attack strength increases +2.
Just because a friendly is in the way of a target does not mean you cannot fire. Space is a three dimensional war zone.
Other stuff I didn't anticipate: Just ask.
