Author Topic: 6 year shot himself [He's alive]  (Read 3319 times)

anyone who isn't smart enough to keep their guns out of reach of children shouldn't be allowed to have guns

coming from australia where only like 5% of people actually own guns the whole american system seems a bit silly
i honestly just think that people have less common sense are outright stupid over here compared to Australia

its already illegal to not have guns locked up if children are in the house.

or maybe the law is about loaded guns, or ammo access. I dunno.

but there are already laws. so people are not allowed to make stupid decisions when its already made for them lol

I never have a loaded gun in my house. mostly because I never use the safety buttons. I hate them. I only put a bullet/shell into a gun when I need it.
however I do usually keep the ammo sitting right next to the guns lol

And people want guns in schools.

Accidental gun deaths be rising.

well there is a difference between having a gun with you. and playing around with it Lol. you can't accidentally shoot something if you aren't holding it.

regarding all accidental discharges. Its usually common sense to never point a gun at someone. even if its unloaded, even disassembled to be cleaned. just never point it at yourself or another person. no need for rules and safety measures, a gun not pointed at a person, can't shoot them.

yet for some reason there are lifelong gun users that still manage to accidentally shoot themselves or a friend lol

that's what bothers me about toy guns. like kids instinctively know to hold you up, either to rob you or arrest you, its how the phrasing is done.
but every time a little kid does it, he just instinctively shoots it anyways.

the issues isn't about never let a kid have toys guns. its teach the damn kid to not point it at people Lol.
they get that muscle memory over time to just pull the trigger at every instance its pointed at a person. then they find and play with a real gun and they unintentionally shoot their friend because that's how they learned to use a gun.

"hi brian, wasn't expecting you!

ooo, yeah sorry mate, gotta leave those kids outside"
Just get like, a rope or something, and tie them out back.
You don't see dogs shooting themselves, do you?
Dogs > Children

The father is superman.
The child is superman's son.

"If that kid had a second gun he could have defended himself from the first gun"
