Author Topic: "Newegg Lost A Customer!" - Your opinion?  (Read 1373 times)

This man is either an idiot or just incredibly impatient. He doesn't sound like someone with particularly stellar "people skills", flipping the forget out after only two or three correspondences. He also sounds unbelievably entitled. Anyone who's dealt with Dell Customer Support and repair knows that this mishandling/mislabeling by warehouse staff is minuscule compared to the stuff Dell pulls on a daily basis.

I can't really talk about the staff though, because I've never had any Newegg products shipped from California, but instead from their New Jersey facility, which takes about a day of UPS Ground to reach my house in MA (about three days in upstate NY currently). I have never had a problem with Newegg, the few times I've dealt with their customer support has been for minor things and the issues have always been dealt with quickly. If anyone's stupid enough to jump to this guy's defense, I don't think they're the sort of people that Newegg needs the patronage of, anyway.

stuff happens
this guy is overreacting. why would he immediately flip the forget out? he sounds like an ass

i feel bad for this guy

to: what a handicap
Video does not exist.

By the way, he responded in the comments:

"people are missing the point that this was a week long issue that I was more the patient with the entire time until today. On top of that the only reason they DIDN'T send the card back is because i flipped out., If I let it go that damn card would be on my doorstep again."

how does he know they wouldn't have held it for him?

how does he know they wouldn't have held it for him?
I have no idea, good point.

The stupid thing is, its actually HIS FAULT that he got it, not saying that he bought it because he needed it, but he bought it because he though it would "Make his games run faster"

Pretty much : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TiRg5X7OM0

He shouldn't be raging over waiting for a week or so, 2/3 weeks fine but seriously.
Overall if i was him, i would just hold onto it instead of getting rid of it, there nothing to get overly mad about i know its 400+ dollars but i would just keep it instead of trying to give it back.
