So, there's a lot of economy (I guess?) in this game. You do missions, bounties, lots of things. But what if you had good things, and wanted to get other things?
Introducing the idea of Trading.
Here's how it works:
You simply use the phone and there will be a menu called Trade. There will be 2 options: One will be In Game, and Friends. In Game will allow you to pick a list of players in your current game to trade with. Friends will bring up a list of friends who are online and are playing the game online.
Once you select the person you wish to trade with, their phone will notify them. If they accept, the trade offers area begins.
What's tradeable? Well, you can trade weapons, cars, clothes, apartments (yes, you can swap homes with one another) and money.
There are 2 areas, one at the top, and one at the bottom. The bottom being the other person you're trading with, and the top being you. There will be 8 slots you can select, and a money area. You use the brown townog stick (PS3) or control stick (XBOX) to select which slot you want to put something in. If you press X on one of them, a menu will appear. This menu will have different sections: Weapons, Cars, Clothes, and Apartment. In Weapons, you can choose from the assorted weapons you own (this includes upgrades on them) and select them. In Cars, the same thing. Clothes however will have the different sections you normally see in Clothes (accessories, tops, bottoms, shoes, etc.). Once you select something and hit X on it, the item's icon will appear. There is another area that looks like the GTA money text you would normally see when you gain or lose money. If you go there, you can select the specific digit and change it from 1-9. If you go to the other player's side, you can see what the item's name or stats are (vehicles and weapons for stats). There will be a button in the middle, one green, and another one red. The green one will say TRADE, while the other one will say DECLINE. TRADE will allow you to accept the other player's offer. The other person must hit trade as well in order to confirm the trade. DECLINE means you do not like the other person's offer, and the trade ends. If the trade is accepted, you gain whatever items, cars or apartment you got.
Now, the things that can NOT be traded:
DLC items
Weapons you have not unlocked
So, this is a short idea I decided to come up with due to GTA V's huge money based economy and such. What do you think? Comments? Opinions?
