Hello everyone! This topic is about the PS4 and it's software update.

When the PS4 is launched, they will be performing a massive software update to all PS4 systems. Everyone will be performing this update simultaneously when they get their systems. This could take some time and the update may be slow.

To avoid this, Sony released an early software update that can be downloaded via USB to PS4. All you have to do is go to their website and then follow the directions.

Because they have most likely been producing the ps4 consoles for months ahead and have made an update since they started the first ones? It's not like they can just tell the factory to go into the already produced and boxed consoles and make an update, then put it in all the new ones.

Because ps4s are only put into production the night of release and santa brings them to the stores

Because some people don't want to pay over $1000+ dollars just to play some games on a PC. And the fanboy sperg fest is just people being handicapped.
If you love a Console or a PC it really doesn't matter as long as you don't be an starfish about the whole thing and say your System is of higher superiority over the others.

It's just what you like that matters.
