Author Topic: Petition Eugen Systems: Add Modding Tools to R.U.S.E.  (Read 2805 times)

Well, a petition is what we need and is what we have.
You're not an employee of Focus or Eugen are you? So how do you know specifically when and or what they're working on at this moment and time?
how do you know they have the manpower or time to work on more than one project? how do you know they'll listen to your petition? you're literally asking a small company that probably doesn't make as much money as companies like valve to just drop what they're doing and cater to the whims of some kid.

Whims of some kid? Ha! But seriously, Eugen isn't considered small. Also, did I say that they should drop everything and work on RUSE? No. It is better if they finish up what they're working on currently and then work on RUSE if they don't have other plans. Whenever they finish all of their plans, then they should work on RUSE. Otherwise, they will ignore the public and do what THEY want to do instead of what most RUSE strategists want.

Their manpower is small, they got everyone working on Red Dragon right now.

wow okay macho man

But seriously, Eugen isn't considered small.
~50 employees is hardly large either considering how much time and effort has to go into making a good game

Also, did I say that they should drop everything and work on RUSE?
based on op that's basically what it was implying

what if they make more plans after they finish those plans

Whenever they finish all of their plans, then they should work on RUSE.
see above

Otherwise, they will ignore the public and do what THEY want to do instead of what most RUSE strategists want.
i'm not sure how to respond to this one -- the way you worded it makes it seem like what the company wants to do is the worse choice.

50 employees is more than most of the indie game development teams I've met, seen, and or heard of.
I wasn't implying anything in the original post other than to get Eugen to add modding to RUSE some day.
If they have more plans, they should finish them then work on RUSE. It should be added to the plan list of course!
