Yeah.  They did have some pretty cool cars though.  I wish the Holden Ute had been over here.  Being GM, they did have similar cars to here too.

rumors have been going around for years that they'd be going. sucks for the production workers but surely you'd have to expect that when you work in the manufacturing industry in australia of all places (it's never been a strong sector)
