Do you really think the government is capable of stopping every terrorist attack by listening to any phone call? 9/11 is the US government's fault because both the FBI and the CIA had information on a possible attack and could have shared information to stop it, instead they wanted to compete with each other by hoarding information. Because that we now have the Department of Homeland security and the patriot act. You want the same starfishs that let the attacks on the trade center and pentagon happen to monitor everything.
