Author Topic: NSA phone surveillance ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL!  (Read 3097 times)

Yes, Harm, but since the NSA cannot spy on telecommunication, terrorist cells will just talk on the phone.

I'm sure people aren't
a) too protective of their privacy
b) very hesitant to believe anything
The people are always right, right?
wait, you mean privacy is a bad thing?
in that case, mind if i install a camera in your house?

not believing a government thats been known to lie? ubsurd!

a) too protective

governments don't lie all the time

a) too protective

the de facto for government should be that they are always lying.

And I bet most "terrorists" don't have expensive Verizon plans, they have cheap burner phones that aren't nearly as closely watched.

Because some guy in the caves of Afghanistan gets cell phone reception, am I right? The FBI, NSA, County Sheriff, or Local PD can still tap your phones. They just aren't allowed to tap in as freely anymore. All they need is probable cause and to a go to a judge and get a warrant to tap your phone line. That is the legal way, and should be the only way.

Yes but what I seem to look at is that no phone surveillance is allowed, even with a warrant.

Or am I wrong here.

I am not talking about the international sand people terrorists. I am talking about the country in here right now terrorists.

All it did was condemn the Bush era Patriot Act phone tapings.

As for domestic terrorist, there goals are all different. They don't all involve blowing up government buildings or people.

ELF(Environmental Liberation Front) - They see humans as a destructive force and will do anything to protect nature. They are known to protest harass logging companies and burn down property.

ALF(Animal Liberation Front) - Similiar to ELF, however they see man as a threat to animal life. They are known for freeing animals from labs. They have also bombed several labs.

Soverign Citizens - They are loose group of people  that believe that they are descended from the first citizens and believe that the law doesn't apply to them. They live out in the woods trying to avoid contact with the government.

The Militia Movement - Loosely organized, they believe that the government is corrupt and will try to take over everything eventually. They have armed themselves and have prepared themselves to overthrow the government for when the second ammendment is abolished.

and of course there are more, but there are too many to list

Nobody gives a forget about phones anymore except for crazed teenage girls and business men.

They know that, so obviously this was passed without worry.

The internet is what needs protection from government cigarettes.

But hey, if phones are going to be "safe" now, I might just start using mine again.

Lol yeah pretty much.
lol he actually admitted to doing that

now the terrorists can just call each other
Pretty much because tons of cigarettes got butthurt about surveillance terrorists can do whatever.

i bet you they're still going to do it
