Author Topic: What I got for Christmas  (Read 1306 times)

By some sorcery, my parents missed the number 1 priority on my list which was a Steam gift card.

However, by some sort of miracle, I got a Pokemon X themed Nintendo 3DS XL.

Here's the catch: It didn't come with Pokemon X.

So, my first DS was a DS Lite that was Zelda-themed and was bundled with Phantom Hourglass.

So, you mean to tell me they charge a forgetload of money for an XL 3DS that's Pokemon X themed, and it doesn't come with Pokemon X?

Okay, Pokemon X is a whole $40 dollars more so I can understand that having it bundled with a Pokemon X 3DS XL is a bit much to ask but really? :(

So now I've got this lovey new 3DS and all I can do with it at the moment is play with my NintenDogs from the 2000s and finish Zelda Spirit Tracks finally. Yayyyy.

85% of my gifts were underwear, socks, a nice scarf, some new slippers (as suggested by Ticonderoga), a nice jacket, new leather gloves, and a forgetload of chocolate.

My brother has been asking for a punching bag and he got it, and along with that, we both got boxing gloves and practice mitts to punch with so it seems my brother and I will once again be beating the stuff out of each other for fun.

I also got a 15-dollar iTunes card that I reeeeallyyyy didn't need but I'll make usage for it. I also got a RuneScape membership card (even though the Steam gift card was at the top of my list and I said not to buy the membership if it cut into the funds of Steam but apparently they didn't even see it on my list).

And from my last gift, my grandma usually sends me money, but THIS time, she sent us a Walmart gift card for $15 dollars and the funny part is Walmart is about 30 minutes of a drive away, which is about 15 dollars in gas. Man, that was worth sending a $15 card across the entire country. Man, I'm grateful, but that gift was sadly in vain.

So, overall, the only gifts worth noting is the punching bag, boxing gloves, practice mitts, a new headset, the 3DS XL (which I can't even use right now for anything but old DS games) and chocolate.

Man, all I asked for was a Steam card and I got a 3DS :(

I'm going to drown my sorrow in chocolate.

No but for real, I'm excited to have a 3DS XL, it's wonderful. But forget, I can't even use it right now. :((((

Now I gotta figure out a way to get my hands on some Steam credit before the sales are over. :c

Um what

Um what

My cars are old and take a lot of gas.

Okay maybe it's more like 5 dollars in gas but still.

I'll take it off your hands, I'd pay for mail.

Nah I'm gonna waste gas money and go to walmart anyway. xD

Doesn't seem like it, starfish.

It does seem that way, doesn't it?

I'm frustrated because I can't use my awesome 3DS. It isn't that I'm ungrateful, I'm just a tad bit disappointed that I can't use my awesome 3DS yet. :(

Name-calling wasn't very necessary. :c
